Erik Voorhees' Venice AI Debuts Real Time Web Search Update

The decentralized Venice AI platform, launched in May, now uses the Brace API to provide up-to-date information from the web. This innovative development comes amid the spotlight on digital privacy worries.

A Need for Privacy in the Evolving Digital World

Erik Voorhees, the founder of Shapeshift and his developer’s team introduced this latest AI model as a revolutionary answer to reshape online digital engagements. This new model is built on cryptographic fundamentals which aim to revolutionize the knowledge and the use of web-based AI technologies.

In an X post, the Venice AI creator revealed that this new release is a substitute for centralized and censored AI models such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude AI, and Google’s Gemini. He believes there was a need for decentralized options as AI was becoming overly centralized. He added that it was mostly controlled by tech giants.

Voorhees emphasized that this web enabled-Al model has the ability for instant web interactions. This is made possible by its integration with the Brave API. He added that this new model comes as a beacon of privacy amidst the large expanse of the internet.

In addition, this advancement not only elevates Venice AI to the leading edge of real-time data access. He highlighted that it is a testament to the company’s commitment to user privacy and the unrestrained principles of digital assets.

Artificial Intelligence is Taking Over the Digital World

Furthermore, in a concurring X post, Taylor-Baker, a crypto enthusiast and Venice AI proponent affirmed that this rolled out feature will enable users’ privacy and convenience. She added that it can be used across different services without storing data on servers.

Notably, AI has gradually become a key enabler of the crypto industry and the Web3 world at large. Recently, crypto exchanges, and investment firms are beginning to ride on its potential to revolutionize their operations. Recently, top economist, Alex Kruger issued an advice to corporations to start investing in the technology.

He predicted that with the massive growth of AI, it is expected that Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) will become mainstream by 2027.
