Shiba Inu Bags Major Listing on PayPal

A new collaboration between financial service provider PayPal and MoonPay has added Shiba inu (SHIB) to the list of crypto assets available to residents of the United States. This means that U.S.-based PayPal users can now buy and sell SHIB from the comfort of their homes using bank transfers, wallets, or debit cards.

Another Listing For Shiba Inu

MoonPay announced its strategic alliance with PayPal on Thursday, adding that the platform’s customers now have access to transactions from fiat currency to about 100 cryptocurrencies including SHIB on the platform. Apart from Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), users can also trade Solana (SOL), Tether (USDT), Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA), Polygon (MATIC), and more.

A key advantage highlighted is the simplified crypto acquisition which it offers for MoonPay customers who possess a PayPal account for online transactions. These users can finance their Shiba Inu purchases using their PayPal balance in addition to existing alternatives. 

Markedly, this can be achievable without requesting that existing PayPal users input any of their details during the crypto purchase transactions manually. The Shib Army has anticipated this integration of SHIB with PayPal for the longest time, hence, this new development is a significant milestone for the community. 

Similarly, Robinhood recently hinted at its support for the SHIB ecosystem by moving forward with a listing of the memecoin on its app for users in New York. 

1.7M SHIB Leaves Robinhood 

Amid the excitement that trails the Paypal listing, on-chain data revealed a massive transfer of 1.75 trillion Shiba Inu tokens from Robinhood, suggesting a major buying move. According to the blockchain tracker, Whale Alert, the transfer was made in two tranches of 875,000,000,000 SHIB each.

The movement was spotted around the time when the price of the dog-themed memecoin marked an uptrend. The crypto asset is still performing well, even until the time of this writing. SHIB was trading at $0.0000227 with 1.10% increase within the last 24 hours.
