The arrival of Elon Musk in Tennessee and a recent update of his X profile have given credence to suspicions that he might be attending the upcoming Bitcoin Conference.
Donald Trump to Attend Bitcoin Conference
Several entities believe that it is no coincidence that Musk arrived in the U.S. South state a few days before the much-anticipated Bitcoin Conference. As if that was not enough, the X owner changed his profile picture on the social media platform to one with laser eyes. Noteworthy, this is a popular trend within the BTC network to show support in the future of the coin.
United States Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump is attending the conference even after he was recently attacked in Pennsylvania. Musk’s association with Trump, his love for Bitcoin and the importance of the conference makes it even more likely for him to be in attendance. VanEck’s Head of Digital Assets Research, Matthew Sigel, ignited the excitement with his post.
“In six days President Trump, running temporarily unopposed, will speak at The Bitcoin Conference in Nashville. Many are speculating he will propose establishing a US Strategic #bitcoin reserve. Trump praised Elon Musk at his rally last night. Now Musk has laser eyes. See you there.”
Elon Musk Claims Other Reason For Tennessee Visit
On the other hand, Musk claimed he was in Tennessee for other reasons which involved his Artificial Intelligence (AI) model Grok. He specifically said that “Grok is being trained in Memphis.” Then for his laser eyes profile picture on X, Musk mentioned that it was purely aesthetics.
This does not rule out the possibility that he could be going for the Bitcoin conference. In fact, the proximity and timing are indications that he could still travel to Nashville for the conference. For now, the broad crypto industry is talking about the Bitcoin Conference with so much excitement. BTC price has already seen an uptrend as the date for the event draws closer.
At the time of this writing, BTC was trading at $67,271.96, corresponding with a 0.79% increase within the last 24 hours according to CoinMarketCap.
